Special Project for the General Biology Class
Your assignment is
to plan, produce, record, and publish a music video about biology on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com.
You may choose any topic related to biology but must have approval before
publishing to YouTube. Your final
video should be limited to approximately 3 minutes in length and will be graded
on the basis of accuracy, content, entertainment value, and quality.
You may work with others, but no more than four students can submit the
same project for a grade.
Your YouTube video
should be published with an appropriate title, which will preferably be the
biology topic you choose for production. In
the description, you should include a statement such as, “this is a video for
Dr. Bidlack’s class, performed by…and then list the names of the individuals
involved in the project.”
Once you have
completed your video and you have confirmed that it has been published on
YouTube, you should send an e-mail to Dr. Bidlack at jbidlack@uco.edu
with a short description of the video, the names of individuals who are
submitting the project, and an Internet link that can be used to view the video.
