MOLECULAR CELL PHYSIOLOGY (BIO
4454/5454) ENZYME ASSAY LAB RESULTS
Results from the Enzyme Assay Lab for the
Spring 2007 semester are provided here. There are four items you will
need for your lab report:
1. Absorbance and protein
concentration data from the standard curve [PROTEIN
STANDARDS]
2. Plot showing absorbance
vs protein concentration, along with an equation of the line
3. Calculation showing
protein concentration of your samples
4. Calculation showing
enzyme activity in units of micromoles per milligram of protein per minute (you
will need to report your absorbance readings and time of recording for two
measurements as well)
